I'm loving all of the great things happening with my Victorian, lacy valentine-ish pins. I’ve gone for a lot of variety, as befits the era, and I’m enjoying this sort of embellishing. I usually prefer to work with blacks and brights, and it has been so fun to work with light colors and a very feminine touch. I’m close to the end of the series, and soon I’ll be able to post the completed set.
Yesterday, I took a break to make a more modern day pin. I challenged myself to only work from my pool of “bead soup” that is always in the middle of my workstation. I’m pretty happy with it, and since it has the words “fairy tale” collaged into it, this too would make a great valentine.
